Jeffery (Jeff) Dale Neathery of Robinson, TX went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 28, 2015 after a battle with cancer, at the early age of 58.

Services: 11AM Saturday, September 5th at Heart of Texas Cowboy Church (5101 Kendall Ln., Waco 76705) with Pastor Jeromy Connell officiating. Flowers may be sent directly to the church and/or in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Heart of Texas Cowboy Church.

Jeff was born in November 1956 to William and Ruth Neathery of Bossier City, Louisiana. As a young boy, he became the all-star pitcher in the San Antonio Little League. He later joined the Army in 1974 as a Private, and was a Field Artillery Crewmember and Sharpshooter. After his military service, Jeff worked for the Army Depot for 28 years and retired from Civil Service. He and his wife, Dawn Neathery moved to the Waco area in 2015 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Jeff and Dawn just recently celebrated a renewing of their wedding vows in a beautiful ceremony in their home. They are members of the Heart of Texas Cowboy Church and attended church regularly despite Jeff’s illness. He became an inspiration to others through his dedication to his Lord. Jeff loved nature and bird watching either out his window or on TV shows. He also enjoyed cooking shows and trying new dishes. But more than anything, he loved spending time with family. Jeff was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather and wanted his family to know what a difference his Lord made in his life. Jeff is survived by his wife Dawn Neathery; son, David Neathery; daughter, Starr (Daniel) Borrer; daughter Skye Bensley (Doug Gibson); grandchildren: Camron Borrer, Maddilynn Borrer, Jerimiah Bensley, and Serenity Bensley; mother, Ruth Hudspeth; brother, Kenneth (Kay) Neathery; and brother, Larry (Esther) Neathery; Momma #2 Dawn (Charlie) Yost; brother, Troy (Donna) Lagrotteria and numerous nieces and nephews.
