Terry Lynn Norman

2022 March Norman 0001

Terry Lynn Norman was born September 17, 1964 to Eldridge and Joyce (Jackson) Norman of Marlin, Texas.

Terry was 57 at the time of his passing March 1, 2022.  His personal motto about himself:  “I live to protect and serve.  When not at work, I fish hard and live life to the fullest.”  Although Terry was not a police officer, he took great pride in his security job.  He was willing to put his life in danger if needed, to assist someone.

Terry was a great sportsman.  He loved the outdoors, fishing and enjoyed cooking.  He also loved children and animals.  If you were friends with Terry on Facebook, it is certain that you saw all of the wonderful meals he made.  One of the best things about him and his cooking was that he was always willing to share.

Terry was quick witted with humor, along with a little sarcasm.  For those that knew him, you know that to be true!  He had a heart of gold and was loved beyond measure by his family and friends.  He also loved them all very dearly.  He will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his brother, Johnny Norman and wife Tammy, and their children, Kevin Norman, Kashley Sykora and husband, Scott, Trey Kilpatrick and wife Iris and their child Kalypso.  Aunts, Uncles, and numerous cousins, 2nd cousins and 3rd cousins.

A gathering to celebrate Terry’s life was held March 12, 2022 at Nutt Pavilion in Marlin, Texas.  All security officers present were honor guards.  Thank you to all for prayers, thoughtful words, your attendance and contributions.  Special thanks to Pro Security Group, Waco PD, AMR and Management/Maintenance at the apartment complex where he lived.  Also, thank you to Lake Shore Funeral Home and Crematory for all of the help.

Donations may be made to COTSO.org the Charitable Organization for Texas Security Officers.
