Mark Todd, age 63, of Waco, passed away on December 29th at his home.
Visitation: 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 10am Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Interment: Rosemound Cemetery
Mark was born on February 2, 1959 to Dorothy Dorn and Robert D. Todd in Waco, Tx. Mark graduated from La Vega High School in 1977. He was 16 when he started his career at H‑E‑B and worked his way to General Manager. He retired after 46 years.
After Mark retired, he pursued his hobbies of exploring Waco with his sister, visiting with his mother and step-father, playing with his great nephew, and staying at home with his beloved dog Charley.
Mark has the biggest heart and felt compassion very deeply. He loved his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Stella Collier; father, Robert D. Todd; brother, Robert Todd; and nephew Chris Todd.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dorn and step-dad Gordon Dorn; brother, Dell Todd; sister-in-law, Teddy Todd; sister, Leigh Ann Devers and spouse Ricky Devers; niece, Dorothy Sanders and husband Sean Sanders and sons Bryant and Tyler; nephew, Ryan Todd and wife Crystal Todd and daughters Addy and Caitlyn and children Kynzleigh and Kayson; niece, Kelleigh Chapman and husband Chase Chapman and son Cash.

I missed Mark for the holidays , didn’t seem like the festive year without him at Marlin 104 . It was great working with a partner who dedicated 46 years to HEB and 12 of those years were epic to me working in his department. Prayers for the family , he was a great man . Missing him greatly since his retirement .

I am so very sorry, I do hope you know how much Mark loved his family. We were to have breakfast Thursday morning. We met when he first started at Temple 2 HEB. I have so many wonderful memories of Mark. From taking him to his first Vegas trip, many canasta parties, to our Christmas gift exchange of me giving him one of his collections of a Snow babies or Christmas village, we shared a love for Christmas. We always had a good time with lots of laughs. Since his retirement we had really reconnected, Mark was part of our family. I feel like I know of each of you as ya’ll were his life, he loved you so. I pray you find comfort and that the Lord blesses you. I will miss him.

May Perpetual Light Sine Upon My friend, If I was passing Marlin I would stop to see if he was working so I could see him , we didn’t keep in touch nly at meetings we would make sure we got to visit for a little he truly was a friend that had a place in my heart. Mary Arriola
I am so sorry for your loss, I always loved Mark. We had such a great time when we were young going to Disneyland, the Grand Canyon, Knott’s Berry Farm and seeing Aunt Dolores and Uncle Jr. I have always loved the whole family and we had good times. I still consider ya’ll my family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of ya’ll.
