A Life Remembered
Tommy Gene Graves Jr. was born on February 16th, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas to Tommy Gene Graves, Sr. of Fort Worth and Dorinda Kay Dickson of Waco.
He was a lifelong resident of Waco, Texas where he and his beloved 4 brothers were raised by their mother. Tommy remained single and never married nor had children.
He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers Randy Graves and Steve Turnage. He has two remaining brothers, twins Mitch and Mike Parsons of Plano and Houston, respectively.
If you knew Tommy, you know he was the sweetest soul. He was an extremely caring person and had a giving soul who often put others above himself. He was a long time deeply devoted volunteer at his apartments and served on the resident counsel and in the snack shop. He was incredibly dedicated to his friends and family until the very end.
Tommy attended church weekly and was a Christian and has joined our Lord in heaven.
The family wishes to sincerely thank those caregivers of Alamo Hospice and Woodland Springs Nursing Home. They took incredible care of Tommy the last month of his life.
Enough cannot be said and enough appreciation given for Rosa Leach for the loving care she gave Tommy the last four months of his life. This allowed Tommy to stay in his home and he only spend two nights at the nursing home. She was assisted by caregiver Kathy Whiting. These two ladies gave a level of loving care that just could not be matched and was unparalleled. They are such special people and we are so grateful.
