Known fondly as “Chelita” & “Gracie,” our beloved Mother Graciela was a woman of unwavering faith in God. She passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024, in Waco, Texas, joining her Heavenly Father after a life filled with love and devotion.
Graciela cherished moments with her family, delighting in games of loteria and creating cherished memories with loved ones. She faithfully prayed the rosary and found joy in attending mass. Her life’s greatest joys were found in being a loving wife to her husband of 53 years, Tomas Ibarra, a devoted mother to her children, and a beloved grandmother to her 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graciela is survived by her loving spouse, Tomas Ibarra; children, Gabriel Ibarra and wife Irma, Griselda Herrera and husband Javier, Ricardo Ibarra and wife Lily, Tomas Ibarra and wife Karina, Lucia Ibarra-Perez and husband Roy, Nancy Lopez and husband Andres, and Maria Guerrero and husband Jimmy; siblings, Guadalupe, Petra, Leonor, Rosa Linda and Jorge; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Catalina Espinoza and Casimiro Salazar, and brothers, Salvador and Jacinto Salazar.
Graciela’s life was a testament to strength, love, and faith. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
