I was on the interview board when John was still in Texas and applied for a job with the City of Lenexa by a long distance phone call. He gave very good answers and was willing to make what had to be a scary move to come work in the Kansas City area after moving from Texas. His whole focus was to be near his daughter. He loved her so much and wanted to do what he could to be near her. I hope she always remembers how much he loved her and that she was his driving force for what he wanted to accomplish. He was a good man. May God bless you all and be with you through this very tough time.
