Carlos Trejo, 72, went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 6, 2020 in El Paso, Texas.
Service Information: The Celebration of Life services for Pastor Carlos Trejo will be Friday, November 13, 2020, at 7:00 pm (CST) and Saturday, November 14, 2020,at 10:00 am (CST). Both services will be held at Fountain of Life Church located at 2200 Ross Ave, Waco, TX 76706. When the Church reaches full capacity, we will not allow any additional entrants; however, the services will be streamed online on the FOLC Facebook page Click Here to View the Live Stream. We ask that everyone in attendance wear a mask. Temperatures will be checked. If anyone has a fever or cough, we ask that you stream the services online at the FOLC Facebook page. Carlos Trejo was born February 11, 1948 in Champoton, Campeche, Mexico to Rafael Trejo Noveló and Socorro Ramos de Trejo.
Carlos met the love of his life, Martha Sabido de Trejo, at Iglesia Golgota Asamblea De Dios in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico as a child. With the blessing of their parents they began dating as teenagers. On June 27, 1970, they united before God and their families, to start their life together as husband and wife. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage on June 27, 2020 and celebrated with their family and friends here in Waco.
Carlos loved the Lord with all his heart and was currently pastoring Templo Monte Sinai in El Paso. He was affectionately known as a Mighty Man of God that led with Godly characteristics. He had the leadership of Moses. He had the spirit of David because he had a heart after God. He had the wisdom of Solomon. He had the strength of Samson. He walked in the double portion of the anointing like Elijah. But most of all, he lived what he taught and preached.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Luis Trejo and Soledad Trejo Rodriguez; and grandson, Caden Evans.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Martha Trejo; children, Nelson Trejo and wife, Betty, Elsy Veronica Trejo-Evans and husband, Cyrus, Esmeralda Trejo Diaz and husband, Jose, and Martha Annette Trejo; grandchildren, Isaac Keith Trejo, Carlos Arian Trejo, Greyseli Adeni Trejo, Aaron Sebastian Trejo Díaz, Lexi Evette Trejo Díaz, Jomaal Raineri Mathews II, Cyrus Shavar Evans Jr., Caleb Tyre Evans, Jamajesty Manet Mathews, Zyana Azanet Mathews, and Zakario Jovanni Mathews; siblings, Arturo Trejo, Lourdes Trejo Lopez and husband, Roman, Rafael Trejo, and Efrain Trejo and wife, Michelle; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.

Fue un servidor dedicado a la obra de Dios, integro, humildad, y amoroso con todos. El amor por Dios y por la gente y su pasión por el ministerio influjo muchas vidas en una relación con Cristo, aquí en Tejas y al otro lado de la frontera mexicana. El será extrañado por todos, un amigo fiel y un gran sirviente de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo. Un día muy pronto lo veremos en Gloria. Cantando con los Ángeles. El fue un buen cantante pastor y maestro.
El Hno. Carlos Trejo al cerrar sus ojos dijo, “He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la cerrera, he guardado la fe. Por lo demás, me esta guardada la corona de justicia, la cual me dará el Señor, juez justo, en aquel día; y no solo a mi, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.” 2 Timoteo 4: 7-8
Hno. Marta, cuando nos notificaron del Hno. Carlos su partida con el Señor. Nuestro corazón siento el dolor de su separación. Para nosotros fue un gran servidor. Cuando le conocimos, era un jovencito muy respetoso, amable con un espirito muy dulce y siempre con una sonrisa y un saludo de bendición. Nunca cambio, siempre fue el mismo por mas de 40 años que lo conocimos.

Mis condolencias para la familia Trejo nuestro hno Carlos que ahora esta con el Senor tuve el privilegio de conocerlos cuando llegue a Waco Tx en el mayo del 80 a la edad de 14 anos su esposa la hna Martha tambien sus hijos Nelson Martha Esmeralda. Y tambien fue mi maestro en Academia Primera Asamble De Dios de Disipulado Doctrinas Biblicas fue de mucha bendicion nuestro hno Pastor Trejo un hno muy pero muy ejemplar a seguir no le decimos a Dios ssino asta luego estare orando por la familia Trejo rresiban un abrazo virtual .
