Doris Jean Dosher of Waco passed from this life on October 8, 2021, at the age of 84.

Funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, October 13 at Parkview Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery

Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, October 12 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Doris loved the Lord and was very active at Parkview Baptist Church by serving as a Sunday School teacher for 35 years, Awanas instructor, youth sponsor, and as a member of the choir before her health began to fail. She also worked at many retail department stores, retiring as cosmetic department manager after 25 years of service at the New Road Wal-Mart.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dora Foster; sister, Ruth Beevers; brother, Howard Foster.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bill Dosher; daughter, Debra Martinez; 2 sons, Ed Bates and Steve Warner; grandchildren, Russell Hicks, and Destiny Law; 2 brothers, Charles Foster, Robert Foster and wife Fayth.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Parkview Baptist Church, 1100 E. Lakeshore Drive, Waco, Tx 76708.

    Oh, sweet Doris! She will surely be missed!
    I had the awesome pleasure of working with her at Walmart. Such faith, patience and kindness!
    I remember when she and Bill started dating, then were married. Their coworkers were asked if there were any objections to their dating, and everyone gave their utmost approval. What a sweet couple!
    I know she leaves a Godly legacy behind, and everyone who knew her was totally blessed to have her in their lives.
