Lawrence H. Degrate was born on June 13, 1940 and passed peacefully on December 12, 2021.
Services: Viewing will be held at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 17, 2021, 1 – 5 PM.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 11 AM at Toliver Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Waco with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

I often thought about you, growing up as a child and now as an adult. Your demeanor and growth in God always amazed me. Each conversation we had you expelled wisdom but you brought laughter as well. I am going to miss you, but I know to be absent here is to be present with the Lord. To my Aunt Faye and my cousin Tim, we send you our love and sympathy. For we all know Uncle LH is just resting until that day when we shall see him again. So for now I am going to tell him simply “good night”, for we shall see you again in that great get up morning.
