Ray Anderson Tindell, 68, of Mart, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at a local hospital.
Memorial Service: 11 AM, Saturday, July 9, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in China Spring with Pastor Barry Camp officiating.
Ray was born April 21, 1954 in Waco to Jeff Tindell, Jr. and Claudine Manley Tindell. He graduated from Waco High School and joined the Air Force where he served in Vietnam and Thailand. Upon returning home to Waco after serving his country, he went to work for Lindsey Construction where he became a concrete superintendent.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cecilia Gay Tindell; son, Tony Sweigart and wife Sherry; brothers, James Tindell and wife, Kay, and Robert Harris and wife Kay; sisters, Dorothy Beauchamp and husband Don, Barbara Griffin and husband Ray, and Gladys Vacek and husband Charles; grandchildren, Anthony Sweigart, Sean Michael Sweigart, and Devoni Graham; great grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden, Landon, Leah, Mason Ray, and Liam.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Ronald Dale Graham.
