Michael Dismore

My wife, Robin, and I arrived in Waco September 2020 after retiring as a pastor and chaplain. We have two adult children on the West Coast. I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in San Francisco, California where I attended The Salvation Army with my grandparents. Becoming a pastor in June 1978, I served in California, Idaho, Colorado, and Oregon. During most of the years of ministry, I volunteered as a First Responder Chaplain assisting Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, and Dispatch Centers. From December 2005 through August 2020 I was on staff with Central Oregon Public Safety Chaplaincy. I look forward to becoming a part of the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory family.
