Janice Koskela, 83, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023.

Janice was born April 12, 1940, to Alton and Frances Wall in Bell County, Texas. She attended Temple High School.
If you ever met Jan, you know that she loved to make things for others. She loved to scrapbook and do crafts and always made things to give to others. Through her crafts she met many wonderful friends, and she treasured them for life. She gave her heart and time to so many.
She met the love of her life, Mel in Waco, Texas. They had a whirlwind romance and married after six weeks March 10, 1973. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Koskela; parents, Alton and Frances Wall; mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Selma Koskela; sister-in-law, Eileen White and husband Wayne; brothers-in-law, George Stanton, Allan Koskela and Arnold Koskela.
She is survived by her sons, Craig Ellis, Jeff Ellis and wife Leslye; grandchildren, Nathan Doss and wife, LeeAnn, Heather McClanahan and husband, Stephen, Casey Scott and husband, Addison, and Bo Ellis and wife, Mariah; great-grandchildren, Kase, Kaden, Kinsley, Jace and Jaxie; sister, Melba Stanton, and brother, Byron Wall and wife, Meg, and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Meg Wall for her loving care of mom the last few weeks of her life.
