Ronny Dean Julian, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully October 1, 2023 at the age of 74. He was born on January 13, 1949, in Houston, TX to William Harrison Julian and Donnie Lou Julian.

Memorial Service:  11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Ronny was a caring husband to his wife of 53 years, Peggy Ann Julian, with whom he shared a life of caring and unwavering support. Together, they built a family founded on togetherness, tenacity and most of all love.

Dad was a pillar of strength and guidance to his sons, Brian Julian and Christopher Julian. His wisdom, humor, and unwavering support were a source of inspiration to them both. Ronny’s daughter-in-laws, Nicole Julian and Kathleen Julian, became like daughters to him, and he cherished the close-knit family they created together.

Grampi was a caring grandfather to four grandchildren, Priya, Bennett, Karalina, and Hunter. He took great joy in watching them grow, taking them on tractor rides and imparting his wisdom which will live on in them for generations to come.

Ronny was a member of the Woodlands Christian Church, where he greatly enjoyed the weekly men’s group and various church outings. He cherished the memories he made in the men’s group including: cooking for the salvation army, going on fishing trips, or playing chicken foot.

Ronny pursued life with a passion for each new adventure. Including being president and founding member of Northwest 45 Little League, president and founding member of the Pineywood Flyfisher’s Associate and an avid participant in 4H with his sons.

Ronny’s life was marked by an incredible work ethic. He was a master electrician, a natural salesman and could fix just about anything. He had a deep appreciation for nature and animals, often spending his time gardening, farming, fishing, hunting and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. In his later years, this love of the outdoors manifested itself in immaculately manicured yards and flowerbeds, and he was always ready to share some fresh produce from his garden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lower Mountain Fork River Foundation in Ronny’s memory.

Ronny Dean Julian’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
