Jack Cooper of Waco went to be with Jesus on Friday, October 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at his home.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:30pm to 5pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service from 5pm to 5:30pm at Lake Shore Funeral Home’s Reception Center, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco, TX 76708..

Jack was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up in Scottsdale; graduated from Scottsdale High School, and after serving in the Air Force, graduated from ASU. He moved to Texas in 1974. Jack was actively involved in the construction industry throughout his adult life.

Jack was a mentor and an encourager to many by living his life according to 2 Corinthians 1:4, “He comes along side us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, He brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.” ~ MSG

Jack is survived by his wife of 49 plus years, Beth; daughters, Laura Maurer (Jim), Tracy Jimenez (Justin), and Charlotte Cooper; grandchildren, Sarah Okot (Francis), Jamie Maurer, Anna Maurer, Cooper Jimenez, and Levi Jimenez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; daughter, Beth; and great-grandson, Edwin.

The family wishes to thank Ascension at Home, Compassus Hospice, and Julie with Home Instead for her compassionate and loving care of “Mr. Jack.”
