Sadie Bell Jefferson 72 of Robinson, passed away on Monday, October 30,2023 in Bobby’s arms while holding his hand. Sadie was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis and encourages all her family to be tested. She was strong and fought hard until her last breath.

Funeral Service: 11:30AM Monday, November 6 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Burial will follow to Doris Miller Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sadie Bell Randle Jefferson was born October 4,1951 in Waco Texas to Bunion and Sophie Daily Randle. Sadie was the youngest of seven children. She grew up with her brothers and sisters Alfonso Randle, Willis Randle, David Randle, Julia Thurman, Beluah Bushnell, and Mary Harbert.
Sadie grew up in Pecan Acres Community in Lacy Lakeview. She received her education at Carver High School. Sadie paused her education but later obtained her GED. She received her Registered Nursing degree from McLennan Community College in 1985. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1995. While at the University of Texas she was a charter member Sigma PhiChapter of Chi ETA Phi Sorority, Inc. Sadie was a strong advocate for teaching children how to read. Sadie believed that education was the key to success and encouraged others to gain their education. (Worked at VA for 27 years)
Sadie was a proud member of Mt. Lebanon Seventh Day Adventist Church since an early age and was baptized in 1972. She served as Church Clerk, Sabbath school teacher, and many other positions. She also served community service in the North Texas Region. Sadie loved her church and took pride in her work with the church.
In May 1969, she met the love of her life Bobby Joe Jefferson. Just two months later July 8,1969 Bobby and Sadie were married. Bobby and Sadie welcomed two children Bobby Joe Jefferson Jr and Edwin Balfour Jefferson Sr. They were happily married for 54 years until her passing..
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents, Bunion and Sophie Randle; brothers and sisters, Alfonso Randle, Willis Randle, David Randle, Mary Harbert, and Beluah Bushnell; and niece, Tina Holder.
Loving survivors are her spouse, Bobby Jefferson; children, Bobby and Monica Jefferson, Edwin (ED) and Tasha Jefferson; grandchildren, Earl and SaDee Baty, Fallon Jefferson, Kayla Jefferson, Edwin (Lil Ed) Jefferson, Christian Jefferson; great grandchildren, Alayah Baty, Titan lee, Avery Allen, Aulani Baty, and Zephaniah Jefferson; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sadie Bell was a very good sister-in-law and just a nice and beautiful person. She was always doing for others her entire life. She will be missed so much. Bobby, may God hold you and the family in His loving care in these difficult days. Our love is with you.

My dear Aunt Sadie is gone !! She was named after my mother Sadie Thompson here in Canada.
