William Niles Thornton went home with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was 39 years old. Niles is survived by his mother, Jan Richter; sisters, Heather Masterpool and Shayna Watts; nephew and niece, Chandler Thornton and Cadence Masterpool, grandparents, William and Wilma Qualls; along with numerous other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was an amazing artist and tattoo artist. He was a hard worker. He had a great heart. He was always the peacemaker. He loved his family and they were the most important thing to him. He loved his niece and nephew like they were his own. He was a great son, brother, uncle, and grandson. He was his Mama’s best friend and he was like a brother to his nephew.

Niles was known for his exceptional artistic abilities, bringing beauty and creativity into the lives of those around him. His work, marked by a unique and imaginative style, touched the hearts of many and will be remembered for it’s emotional depth and beauty.

Beyond his artistic talent, Niles was a kind and generous soul.  His friends and family fondly remember him as someone who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His generosity knew no bounds, and he always put others before himself.

Niles had a special gift for making people laugh. His sense of humor and lighthearted spirit could brighten even the darkest of days. His ability to keep everyone’s spirits high will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Niles’ generous spirit, legacy of kindness, creativity, and humor will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and always loved.
