Robert Maurice Guichard, jr, 82, of Waco, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born to Robert Maurice Guichard, Sr. and Ruth Kimbrough Guichard on January 2, 1942. He grew up in Hammond, Louisiana until he joined and honorably served the Air force, then had long life career in Aviation. He was a loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by father and mother, sisters, Lucille Hewitt and Jeanette Rieders.
Robert is survived by his wife Jessie Husser Guichard; son, Robert Guichard; Daughter, Renee and husband Pat McKee.

My deepest condolences to Jesse, Renee and Bobby. Bob was a very talented and unique individual. I was honored to have him as a co-worker for 36 years and a neighbor for about 20 years. As the song says, “you can’t make new old friends”. RIP my friend.

I worked with And for Bob for many years. He had a wealth of knowledge. Bob was always firm on his decisions yet easy to deal with. Bob has provided me great advice over the years. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed.
Bob was the first Waco employee I had the opportunity to meet around 35 years ago. He was one of the good guys. Low keyed and didn’t let things get under his skin.
