Ann Kirkpatrick

Lois Ann (Bearden) Bagby Kirkpatrick, 88, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at a Temple hospital.

Visitation: 6 to 8PM Thursday, September 12 at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Graveside Service: 10AM Friday, September 13 at Waco Memorial Park.

Ann was born December 22, 1935 in Montgomery AL to Edward W. and Jimmie A. (Meador) Bearden. Ann was a proud member of the Class of 1954 Waco Technical High School. She really enjoyed planning and producing their high school reunions over the years. Prior to her children entering school, Ann was a homemaker; then she became very active in PTA. She worked for Waco Classroom Teachers Association and later Texas Education Agency Region 12. Ann enjoyed those special times camping and fishing with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Bearden; sisters, Wanda Bearden Reno and Elizabeth Bearden Hendricks; first husband, M.R. “Pete” Bagby; second husband, Bill Kirkpatrick; son, Scott Bagby; and great-grandson, Jaxson Vega.

Survivors include daughter, Pam (Joe) Pope of China Spring; son, Randy (Tina) Bagby of Axtell; grandchildren, Joe B. (Emily) Pope of Speegleville, Christi (John) Ivy of Speegleville, Re (Rolando) Vega of Axtell, and Lindsey (Andrew) Bagby- Guerra of China Spring; great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Frank), Dustin (Sarah), Hannah, Taylor, Izabella, Sophia, Olivia, Austin, Ty, and Casey; great-great-grandchildren, Kamdyn, and Sadie (expected in October); and many extended family and friends..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Providence Hospice or Baylor Scott and White Hospice.
