In appreciation for the work of those who spend their lives ensuring the safety of our community, Lake Shore Funeral Home offers a special program to honor these local heroes.
Should a Public Servant of McLennan County, Texas be killed in the line of duty, Funeral Home arrangements (see benefits) will be provided at no cost by Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Program Benefits Include:
- Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff
- Embalming
- Cosmetology, Hairdressing and Casketing the remains
- Use of Stateroom for Viewing and Visitation
- Funeral Service conducted at a local area Church or at our Chapels
- Transportation of the body from place of death to the Funeral Home (within a 40 mile radius)
- Hearse
- Utility Vehicle for transferring flowers and equipment
- Memorial Register Book
- 50 Acknowledgement Cards
- 20 gauge steel, protective casket
- 100 Standard Service Folders
- There will be other expenses that originate outside of the Funeral Home that a family will be responsible for, such as:
WHO QUALIFIES AS A PUBLIC SERVANT UNDER THIS PROGRAM?
Any of the following servants who serve in the above-mentioned areas:
Law enforcement Officers (Municipal, County, and State levels)
Fire Fighters (including volunteers)
Emergency Medical Service Professionals
- SPECIAL BENEFITS EXTENDED TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND RETIRED PUBLIC SERVANTS
Immediate family members of Public Servants (as defined above) who have an interest in pre-arranging their own funeral will be entitled to the following special benefits:
Retired Public Servants receive a 10% discount on professional services and merchandise.
Immediate family members receive a 5% discount on professional services and merchandise.
