Albin “Double A” Neckar, 92, of Waco, took his first steps into Heaven Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Albin was in the care of his daughter, Lisa Neckar in Waco.  He spent his last days in the care of family and friends.  He lived a full and accomplished life.

Service Information: A reception gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 3:30PM Saturday, July 24th at Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 3311 Park Lake Drive in Waco.

His family has many cherished memories and wanted to say that their father, grandfather, and friend to many lived a great life. There were many joys and one being mowing.   God will not have to worry about his yard anymore, for daddy will take over. Being able to work multiple ways was an ongoing part of his life. He grew up working in a cotton field and later worked for two large companies-General Tire and General Dynamics until he opened his own business, Centex Service Station Contractors. He was an exceptional hunter, and being an avid cook was one of his passions along with winning at poker. His friends knew of his powers and the fact that he did things his way!

Albin was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Betty Spring; five brothers; and 2 sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa Neckar, Dianne Passek, and Cindy Keeth; granddaughter, Rachel Belviso; and brother, Ernest Neckar. Those that he leaves as he moves to heaven are blessed to have known him and will cherish his memories.

The family wishes to thank all friends and neighbors for their companionship given during his journey to heaven.

The family acknowledges a special thank you to Compassus  Hospice of Texas.
