Alice Gardner, 87, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 17th at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10AM Thursday, January 21st at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Graveside service will follow at 1PM at Wortham Cemetery in Wortham. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Wednesday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Gardner; daughter, Martha; step-son, James; step-daughter, Diane; grandson, Randy; one sister; and five brothers.
Survivors include daughter, Jilla Garretson and husband Cliff of Waco; sons, Donald Gardner of Oregon and Walter H. Pennington, III. and wife Patsy of Mesquite; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Mary McNeil of Oklahoma; brother, Wallace

Aunt Sissy I love you and will miss you, but I know you are happy. And I know you are not in any pain anymore. I know momma and grandmother are haveing a hayday right now haveing you with them.
