  1. I want to tell you about my friend!
His name was Allan Ray Samford, everyone simply called him Allan. Allan loved his life, his wife, and his friends. He seemed to try to be friends with everyone. Allan was always an upbeat person who enjoyed bringing smiles to other peoples’ faces. He seemed to be one of the most contented individuals I have ever known. I think everyone’s life, who knew Allan, will be deminished by his passing, I know mine will be. I am glad to have had a friend like Allan and I wish him well on his journey.

Chuck and I will miss you Dearly! I can still hear your laughter and singing to alot of wonderful music you introduced me to on the jukebox. We will never forget meeting such a wonderful man. I will keep Rhoda up to date if I find any new Lone Star Puzzle Lids so we can laugh as to you probably will be laughing at us that "you already knew the answer" Love you Allan!

Rhoda we were saddened to hear about Allan’s passing. Embrace your faith to help you cope with the difficult days ahead. May God Bless and keep you.

  8. Allan was a one of a kind and I am honored to have known him and him to have worked for me during my Raytheon years. He was a dedicated and professional man. One of the very best aircraft mechanics that ever worked for me and one of the best lead men that I ever had. Honest and straight forward hard worker. Never will forget the time that I picked him up at the Ok City airport. He didnt even wait to go to the hotel, just wanted to join the crew as he was a replacement and knew that I was short handed and getting behind schedule. He was very key at helping get my crew back on track and getting the job done! Also, was my lead when we had to do the many weekends of ECP upgrades/updates where he and I "lived" at the hanger for 4 and 5 days straight.
Again, I am honored to have known Allan and I know he and Rhonda fought a hard fight with the medical problems.
I just know that he is with God now and the good Lord has already put him in charge of installing the new angels wings. And I know that he will enjoy that, "Keep em flying Allan!"
