Allen was born September 12, 1947 in Ticonderga, NY to Arthur and Rachael (Lacaase) Monette. He married Eva Gay Trumble on December 17, 1989 in Greenville. They moved to China Spring in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Tracy Lyn Drake.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Monette; children, Elizabeth Ann Tapley and husband Richard of Greenville, Shauna Marie Robinson and husband James of Greenville, Holly Sharmain Marlar and huband Benn of Grand Prairie, Joshua Allen Monette of Dallas, Teresa Gaye Myers and husband Tom of Ft. Worth, Lisa Ann Drake of West Tawakoni, Patricia Marie Devers and husband Joe of Wills Point, Richard Carl Drake of Quinlan, Alisha Kay Crain and husband Marcus of Waco, and Iris Loraine Cunningham and husband James of Waco; brothers, Gary Lawrence Monette of N. Ft. Myers,FL, and Glen Edward Monette of Houston.
