Anita Van Cleave Glass, 82, of Waco, Texas went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2011. Funeral services will be 1PM Thursday, May 5th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Wednesday, May 4th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Anita was born on February 3, 1929, to Charles & Elsie Van Cleave in Waco. Anita worked until the mid-80’s in the lab for both the Waco & Temple V.A. Hospitals. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She also enjoyed Christian music and reading her Bible. She will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved her.
She is survived by son; Jim Parrish & wife Anita of Huntsville; brother; Dr. Charles Van Cleave & wife Betty of Martins Mill; grandchildren, Tommy Gattis & wife Cherry of Huntsville, Richie Gattis & wife Frances of Lovelady, Jaime Feaster & husband Blanton of Wichita Falls, and Roni Parrish-Hamner of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Casey, Dalton & Hannah Gattis, Ashley & Brittany Gattis, Parrish Feaster and Cyler & Cadence Hamner; two nieces, Charlotte Pisors & husband Dan of Lorena, and Sharon Fain & husband Gary of Canton; nephew, Steven Van Cleave of Martins Mill; and great-nephews, Michael John, Calvin & Drew Keeney, and Ben, Bryan & Baylor Fain.
