Antonio DeLeon, 60, of Waco, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Rosary: 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, in the chapel at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Burial: 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Oakwood Cemetery
Antonio was born July 6, 1957 in Marlin to Leo DeLeon and Antonia DeLeon. He attended Waco ISD schools. Antonio worked at Davis Iron Works for 25 years and later worked as a self contractor and then at Walmart. He was such a hard worker and would do anything for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Freddie DeLeon; sister, Brenda Sanchez; nephews, Tim DeLeon and Augustine Camargo.
Antonio is survived by his children, Anthony DeLeon, Jessica Woodard and husband, Reggie and Jackie Amaro and husband, Mario; grandchildren, Austin DeLeon, Fabian DeLeon, Kadynce “Kady” Hunt and Jordynne Amaro. His grandchildren were his pride and joy!
He is also survived by his brothers, Leo DeLeon, Carlos DeLeon and wife, Margie and Andrew DeLeon and wife Rose; sisters, Lupe DeLeon and husband, JD, Mary Chavez and husband, Richard, Virgie Capetillo and husband, Johnny, Janie Garcia and husband, Steve, Antonia DeLeon and Felicia Puente and husband, Johnny; and numerous nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
