Arlene Vaughn, 91, of Waco, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014.
Memorial Service: 2PM, Saturday, July 19, at her residence, 2401 Alexander Ave, Waco, 76708, led by her son, Randall Vaughn.
Cremation services entrusted to Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Bertha Arlene Vaughn, known to many as Arlene, was born April 15, 1923 to David and Bertha (Durham) Crockett in Waco. She loved writing and had a talent for sketching. Arlene also enjoyed dancing, and studying astrology. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Vaughn; brother, David Crockett, Jr.; and sister, Beth Stegale.
She leaves behind one daughter, Gloria Henson, of Waco; two sons, Randall Vaughn and wife, Mary, of Louisiana, and Brent Vaughn and wife, Connie, of Houston; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Special thanks from the family to Crystal from Nurses Unlimited, and Sonia, a private caregiver to Arlene, for their care and compassion.

Wow, ran across this by mistake. I am Robert Vaughn, son of Mark Vaughn. Sorry to see Arlene passed. I spoke with her last in 2004. Sweet lady and I wish I would have met her along with the other Vaughn’s while I was in Waco.
