Barbara “Bobbie” Harvey, 81, of Waco, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.

Bobbie was born November 11, 1936 in Waco, graduated from Waco High, attended Baylor University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Bobbie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, and sister.
Bobbie is survived by both family and friends who loved her very much. She will be missed tremendously but never forgotten.

Barbara (Bobbie) Evans Harvey was my best friend during our High School years at Waco High and Maid of Honor in our wedding Sept. 30, 1955. We spent many hrs. making plans for our lives and talking about boyfriends. We met on the Morrow City bus. We sang in the Highland Baptist Choir and on Sunday afternoon often went to the church with several other girls and I would play the big baby grand piano and all of us sang together.
I am so sorry that I had not talked to her since Steve’s untimely death and did not know that she was sick. I only read about her in the paper last Sun. I know that she was proud of her grandson and his wife and children. If any memorial is being planned please invite me by calling 254 366-8823.
