Barbara Bartosh, 70, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, in Waco with Rev. Larry Krueger officiating.
Barbara was born March 9, 1947 in Waco to Doug and Louise Kent Bine.
She married James Raymond Bartosh, Sr. on March 14, 1964. Barbara worked as a secretary at Bryant & Frey Construction for 32 years. She loved playing the organ and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents; Love and Josephine Hairston; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, James Bartosh of Waco; daughter, Melinda Baugh and husband, Rodney of Chalk Bluff; son, James “Ray” Bartosh, Jr and wife, Gianetta of Elm Mott; grandsons, Bryan Baugh and wife, Stephanie of Axtell and Kyle Bartosh of Elm Mott; granddaughters, Cortney Baugh and Curtis Conner of Elm Mott and Olivia Bartosh of Frisco; great-grandchildren, Sofia, Emma, Rylan and Nykolas; and her pets, Honey, Lilly and her parakeets.

So many wonderful memories growing up with Barbara, she was always so wonderful to me. I will not forget those memories. The Williams Family grieves with your family at this time of hurt but our prayers are also with you to help heal the pain. Time will make it better, please call on us if you need anything. I’m sorry for your loss Ray. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I pray for comfort and healing with your loss. I received the news of Barbara just over 1/2 hour ago, otherwise I really would have wanted to attend her funeral. My memories of Barbara were her contagious smile, her great humor (she made me laugh a lot), and her pretty red hair. She was so sweet and I was so sad and shocked to hear she was gone. Love and God Bless to her and all the other families and friends that knew her.
To Barbara’s family. My name is pam kent willis. Barbara was my cousin. My dad Hicky as he was called was her moms brother. Although i have not seen her since my dads funeral i want you to know i have always fond memories of her. Always a big smile on for me when on the infrequent times we saw each other. Wished i would of know in time would of liked to pay my respects.Rest in peace Barb.
