Barbara Louise Engelke, 76, of Waco, died Friday, September 16, 2016 at her residence.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 19th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 20th at Oakwood Cemetery.
Barbara was born April 11, 1940 to Willie Louise Sparkman and Fernard P. Engelke. She lived in Waco her entire life retiring from Central Freight Lines after more than 35 years of employment. She cherished her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, step father, Roy A. Sparkman; sister, Helen Emma Engelke; and brother, Marvin Glen Sparkman.
She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Ann Sparkman, Dora Jane Sparkman, Lillian Rose Davis and husband, Johnny all of Waco; sister, Doris Jean Gladwin of McGregor; brother, Roy Eddie Sparkman and wife, Gwen of Elm Mott; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
