Barbara “Rudy” Montgomery Thomas, 54, of Waco, passed away Friday, September 25th at a Denton hospital.
Funeral Service: 12 Noon Saturday, October 3rd at Marshall Chapel, 1121 N. 6th St, Waco. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Wake Service: 6 to 7:30PM Friday, October 2nd at Marshall Chapel.

It’s so hard to imagine, Rudy is no longer with us. But she is in a much better place. Hold on to God’s hand and He will surely help the Montgomery and Thomas familes through this difficult time. You all have my deepest sympathy.

Growing up on Turner Street was always fun. You could always go to the Big Haus and something was going on. The entire Montgomery Family welcomed you as family. Rudy was the baby girl and for a while it was always Rudy and baby Corey. I thought it would always be just Corey. I came home one year from College and there was Murphy who stole my heart. He was tough as nails and reminded me of myself. He came to see me everyday on a big wheel and everyday i had dialogue with this tough kid. He always say i seen you on T.V. and i would laugh. Rudy would shout for him and i yell he was here with me. She shout back WATCH MY BABY. LaNesha came and too me she was Rudy all ova again. So Rudy you left a ton of memories and three wonderful kids.
