Bennie Lee Miles, Jr., 79, of Waco, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer, April 26, 2017 at the Waco VA Hospital.
Graveside Service: Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Bennie was born October 12, 1937 in Bosqueville, TX to Bennie and Frances (Davis) Miles.
“Mr. Bennie” was best known for his good wholesome meals prepared at Hickory Stick and later at Bonnie’s Chat and Chew off Loop 340. Even after retiring, he continued to prepare meals daily for his family and friends.
Bennie was preceded in death by his parents Bennie and Frances Miles, wife Geraldine (Ladd) Dohse-Miles, brother Otis Miles, Jr. , sister Dorothy Jean Mack, daughter Cynthia Miles- Howard, grandson Reginald Howard and step-daughter Tracy Fee.
Bennie is survived by his son Bennie Miles, III, daughters Angela (Joseph) Trotter and Deborah Fee, grandsons Anthony Howard and Brandon Trotter, grand-daughters Jametria Howard Robinson and MeeRhonda Trotter, cousin Edward (Irene) Danforth, Betty Danforth and Henry Lewis Davis, devoted friend Cheryl Garrett and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
