Betty Grisham, of Robinson, passed away peacefully Monday June 9, 2014. She was 81. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12th at Robinson First Baptist Church’s Youth Building. A graveside memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday June 13, at Criswell Cemetary in Limestone County. Service will be conducted by Mr. Les Farmer.
Betty was born February 19, 1933 to Hugh and Bertha Dempsey in Purdon, Texas. She attended Waco High School and married Oscar L. Grisham on November 8, 1958.
Betty was a loving and caring wife, mother and Mamaw. She was happiest in the company of friends, family and simply being there for her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Tom Grisham and Don Grisham and wife, Jamie; three grandchildren, Mandy Palmer and husband, Jaime, of Dallas, Christy Grisham of Nashville, Tennessee, and Andrew Grisham of Robinson; one great-grandson, Howard Palmer; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
We’ll always remember you smiling and your light will always shine. We love you and will miss you every day.
Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.
Cremation services entrusted to Lake Shore Funeral Home.
