Betty Louiese Heslep, 72, of Axtell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
Graveside Service: 9:30 A.M. Friday, September 6th at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Tull officiating.
Visitation: 6 – 8 P.M. Thursday, September 5th at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Betty was born on December 14, 1946 in Meridian to Lonnie and Charlotte Lane Sanford.
To Betty, family was everything to her! She loved her Lord and church and was a mighty prayer warrior to those in need of prayer. She was affectionately known to many as “Ranny ”.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Leslie Heslep, Jr., husband of 52 years, Les Heslep: and three brothers, Buckey Ivy, Kenneth Ivy, and Russell Sanford.
Survivors include sons, Lonnie Heslep, Sr. and wife Norma “We-z”, and Mark Heslep and wife Margie; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Sue Miller.

I will sure miss Ms. Betty and our Sunday mornings chats. She always encouraged me. She was a true blessing. My heart goes out to all of you. My prayers God comforts and fills your hearts with peace and joy. And I know she has laid her crown at the feet of Jesus and is dancing and praising our Lord our Savior.
