Beverly Ann Jay Cook, 55, passed away Sept. 26, 2011 at a Temple Hospital with her husband and family at her side. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Bailey of Speegleville Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at China Spring Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday night September 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Beverly was born January 27, 1956 in Waco to H.B. & JoAnn (Harcrow) Jay. She married Mike Cook in Waco September 30, 1978. Beverly was a loving, unselfish woman who was loved by many. She would give to family or strangers without thought to herself. To the end she was a woman of courage and grace, never complaining, more concerned with her family than herself.
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Harcrow Jay.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Mike Cook of Waco; sons, Michael Cook, Jr. and Ty Jay, Sr. both of Waco; daughter, Ashley Cook of Waco; her father, H. B. Jay of Speegleville; two sisters, Carla Hines of Crawford and Donna Yglecias of Speegleville; four grandchildren: Ty, Jr. and Tori Jay and their mother Staci Jay of Mart and Anthony and Angel Cramer of Waco and their father, Fred Cramer; in- laws James & Tammy Cook and Kathy & Gary Goff of Waco; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and long time friends.
Pallbearers will be three nephews, Joey Yglecias, Brian Goff and Donnie Paxton; and James Cook, Fred Cramer and Bobby Moyer.

Buford and I had a good time thru the year’s and neither one of us would changed a thing, we discussed this! Been thru alot thru the years, I loved her like a sister, I will never, ever forget her.
