Beatrice Noyola Gaskamp

Beatrice Noyola Gaskamp, 79, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Providence Health Center in Waco.

Visitation: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.,  Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday October 22, 2019, at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Johnson officiating.

Bea was born July 22, 1940 in Gatesville, Texas, as the youngest of five children, to Miguel and Louisa Noyola.  She graduated from Gatesville High School, where she was a member of the marching band, played the clarinet, and also sang in the choir. Her love for music continued throughout her life as she was often heard singing.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 11, 1976 and continued to serve Jehovah faithfully and teach her beliefs of Jehovah God’s promises. Bea was a member of the Richland Congregation in Waco until her death. She wholeheartedly believed in the resurrection and looked forward to living again in a paradise earth.

Bea married Rudolph Gaskamp on June 9, 1979 and they were married for 40 years.

Bea began working for HEB in 1976, where she retired after 21 years. After she retired, she began caring for children and became a loving caregiver to Colton, Caylee, and Clayton Kirk and Kiley and Anna Kimmett whom she loved dearly. Bea and Rudy enjoyed spending time with them and attending their extracurricular activities. Often times, the children in her life were the topic of conversation who brought her much joy. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends.

Anyone who had a conversation with Bea could attest to the fact that she always made you feel like you were the only one in the room. She was very nurturing, selfless, empathetic, and put others before herself. Bea was fun-loving, always up for a good time, looked forward to taking girls trips with her friends, and traveling with her family. Bea was an excellent cook; her most requested dish was her famous pancakes which can best be described by her grandchildren as “off the charts”.

Bea is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rudy; two children, Beverly Collins of Dallas, Texas and Keith Moore and wife, Alisha of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Taylor and Macy Moore of Houston, Texas; and one great-grandchild, Jayden Moore of Houston, Texas; sibling, Martin Noyola and wife, Rosie of Houston, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The worldwide work of Jehovah’s Witnesses at www.jw.org.

Place of Service: Lake Shore Funeral Home , 5201 Steinbeck Bend; Waco, TX 76708
