He honored us by agreeing to move in with us after Dot passed away this past June. Recently, we heard him listening to Big Band music and when we inquired how he was doing he replied, "I’m exhausted,I just danced a mile with my bride." We are comforted to know they truly are dancing together now.
Bill,Rita and family,
You’ve been through a lot this last year but have shown tremendous strength and faith. I was blessed to have been able to spend time, though short, with your Mom and Dad this last year. They handled life’s struggles with such dignity and true Christian faith. And, yes, they are happy and dancing with all those who have gone on before. My prayers are with you all as you enter a new phase of your life.
Blessings,
Billie Jo
To all of Peanut’s family,
I knew Peanut during both our
employment with Yellow Freight. He was a fun loving guy and a
great boss. So much so that some of the old timers still
talk and remember some of the things that Peanut would do or say. Please find comfort in knowing that Peanut might not be where we see him, but he will always be remembered as long as there is a living truck driver at Yellow.

You have my sympathy. I will join your family in prayer this week as you give thanks for your father’s (grandfather’s) life. Bill, you are such a powerful tribute to the love your parents had for one another. You have always been so attentive, kind, caring and sincere. You are their legacy–and how could they be anything but proud? Rita found a piece of heaven in Texas, that’s for sure.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Davis Family during this time. Please don’t hesitate to call on us if there is anything we can do. We love you all.
