Billy Ray Simons, Sr., 66, of Robinson, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2PM Thursday, December 8th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Warnock officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Wednesday, December 7th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Billy was born May 24, 1945 in Waco to Bill and Helen (Ward) Simons. He graduated from Angleton High School in 1961. He married Ginger Brown on October 12, 1962 in Waco. He served as Police Chief in Northcrest for over 5 years. He then worked for McLennan County Sheriff
