  14. I find myself coming back to this page several times a week to read the notes left by loved ones again and again just to feel close to you. I know that may seem silly but it warms my heart to do so. It’s been one month since you’ve passed. It’s still hard for me to wrap my thoughts around the fact that you are physically gone from this earth. I will continue to take comfort in my Father God and in knowing that you are in complete health and total peace. I’m just missing you today Uncle Bo. I love you – Winnie

  15. Bo you were the best brother-in-law anyone could ever have. You were always there for everyone. Even in your condition, you and Pops came to my and Maurice’s rescue after our accident and took us all the way home to Tyler. One of my most favorite memories that I will laugh about everytime I think about it is when you, Shannon, Mama and Pops came to Tyler and we went fishing in the little pond in the subdivision I lived in. You and your Mexico soap showing us how "to fish" and you stumbled on the peer and nearly fell head first in the water. I think Shannon and I both lost 5 pounds that day just laughing at you. I love you brother and I Praise the Lord that you are no longer in pain. You will be missed terribly. You are etched on each of our hearts. Welcome Home brother, we’ll all see you soon.

  17. Shanon, I never met you, but I knew Bo pretty well. I was Pookie’s first wife and I knew the whole family well. I talked to Bo just recently, at Dale’s funeral and he told me he was on the transplant list for his liver after I told him I had cirrhosis of the liver and was on the transplant list at Baylor in Dallas. He gave me your phone number and told me to call him about the transplant stuff. I am so sorry to say, I never got around to calling him. I do so wish I had now. He looked so healthy the day I saw him. I remember how he was, always smiling and joking around. He was just a kid when I met him because I was only sixteen when Pookie and I got married and I am five years older than him. I liked Janie and "Tooter" very much and we went to church where Aunt Gerald and Aunt Marie went several times. I remember goint to his mama’s house many times. It was always noisy and chaotic to me because I was an only child. I liked her house though, because of all the kids, Donna and Coy and Bo, at that time. His older sisters were always doing their hair or somebodys hair. I remember Pookie’s mama going over there occasionally to get Aunt Gerald to do her hair. I has been about 35 or 40 years and I don’t remember exactly, but I think they called Aunt Marie, Aunt Doodle. I just mainly remember that I really liked Bo, He, even then, always had a smile on his face and was happy and joking. I wish I had known him better as he grew up. I only saw him occasionally and at the funerals, a sad place to see someone, but it makes me even sadder that I didn’t call him. He was a great guy, what I knew of him. I will always remember him and I am so sorry I was unable to be at the funeral. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world, but I was in Dallas at the Baylor Tramsplant Hospital for my yearly appointment. I would have canceled, but I didn’t have time. I just want to say that I loved Bo as a person and am sure you had a good husband. I am sure Bo is in Heaven and will watch over you and the rest of his family until we all get to Heaven to see him. If there is anything I can possibly do, please don’t hesitate to call me. My truest condolences, Nancy Moore

Bo will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful friend and blessing to all he knew. Unfortunately we were not able to attend the services. Jesus called another angel home.

  24. Sending sympathy and much love to Shannon. My heart feels that you have already been through the most difficult of times as you endured the pain of watching your love suffer. You have been through so much but have remained… yea rejoiced in being faithful.
My prayer is that the Great Comforter gives you support, precious memories, peace, and the blessed assurance that Bo is in heaven to suffer no more and that you will see him again in God’s time for a joyous reunion.
