Bob lived a full life full of adventure, laughter, good food, and so much love. He was a professional at telecommunications until he retired. He also worked and retired from the City of Newport Beach as a systems technician. Although he was extremely talented and hard-working, what he enjoyed most was adventure and family. He will forever be one of the Los Angeles Chargers biggest fans and loved attending games with his son. Bob loved anything outdoors. Some of his favorite places were the High Sierra, Yosemite, Death Valley, but his most favorite place was beside his wife, Claudia. Bob loved to fish, camp, and hike, and experience all these things with his loved ones by his side. Bob kept his family and friends laughing with his sly smile up until the very end. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought him so much joy. Time with his family meant everything to him, and his whole face would light up when they were near. He will be missed dearly. Bob and Claudia were together for 41 wonderful years.

Bob is proceeded in death by his mother, Delphia Hathaway; father, Victor Hathaway; and brother, Delbert Hathaway. Bob is survived by his wife, Claudia Hathaway; sons, Michael Hathaway (Cynthia) and Jason Bliley (Tracy); daughter, Brandi Roberts; sister, Loraine LaCroix (George); grandchildren, Christina King (Greg), Morghan Coss (David), Jennifer Roberts, Jordan Davidson (Sawyer) and Ryan Hathaway; great grandchildren, Evan King, Brandee King, Charlee King and Kassie King; nephew, Dennis Hathaway (Cindy) and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Special thanks would like to be given to Baylor Scott and White Hospice, especially Amber and Jose. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. You really are family.
