Bobby Holt of Waco, originally from Crawford, passed away May 7, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held at China Spring United Methodist Church, 12301 Yankie Rd, China Spring, TX 76633 Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 am followed by lunch and fellowship.
Bobby dedicated his life to his family and his job – working at Smith Pump Company for 47 years before retiring. He enjoyed being a volunteer fireman in his younger days; going to the car races in Elm Mott and watching races on TV. He was always there to help anyone in need – family, friend or stranger. He made a big impact on a lot of people and will be missed greatly.
He is preceded in death by wife Linda (Lowe); parents, Floyd C and Lillie Mae (Brasher) Holt; brothers, Wayne, Odell and Edward; and sister, Shirley Taylor.
He leaves behind sister, Mildred Burkett and husband James of Crawford; bonus family, Renae Salyers and husband Steve of Austin, Missy Schier of Bruceville, Troy Dwayne (Bubba) Pryor of Waco, Joey Reinke and wife Robin of Axtell, and James Reinke and wife Tina, of Axtell. Along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends and work family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to American Cancer Society and Crawford Volunteer Fire Department.
