Bobby Kimbrough, 66, of China Spring, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at his residence after a courageous battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig’s) Disease. Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday, November 7th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Juneroy Nugent officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, November 6th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Bobby was born October 15, 1946 in Waco to Joseph and Kathleen (Custer) Kimbrough. Bobby met Kathie forty years ago. They began their lives together on July 15, 1973 and reunited their love on November 23, 2005. He served his country with the U.S. Army as a huey crew chief. He worked most of his working life in Waco, including later owning and operating his own business. He enjoyed reading, eating, and travelling with his family during the last six years during his illness. He enjoyed prison ministry outreach through his church. His life truly centered around his girls and their families and considered his grandchildren as "grand’ sons!
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Hannah Montgomery.
Survivors include wife, Kathie Kimbrough of China Spring; daughters, Deanna Rodriguez and husband Arthur of China Spring, and Carrie Crawford and husband Lucas of New Braunfels; grandsons, Christopher Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, and Carson Crawford; sister, Shirley Miller and husband Milo of Nevada; brothers, David Kimbrough and wife Carol of California, and Billy Kimbrough and wife Carol of Texas City; brother-in-law, H.C. Montgomery of Plano; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Art Rodriguez, Carson Crawford, Lucas Crawford, Micah Kimbrough, and Stephen Kimbrough.

I love you uncle Bobby. You believed in me when I was a young teen and made me feel special. You always wecomed and accepted me with open arms. Though I am glad you no longer suffer, I will miss you.
