Brazos Kai Sawyer was born November 4, 2023 to Skylar Elizabeth Shaw and Christopher Daniel Sawyer. During his lifetime Brazos inherited various nicknames to include “BK,” “Bubby,” “Baby Tatonga,” “B-Rex,” “Brazosaurus Rex,” “Brazzy,” “Baby B,” “Chubbabubba Baby,” and many more. Although his time was limited, Brazzy Baby was the most perfect little Angel right here on Earth and brought his parents as well as anyone he encountered a new meaning of happiness. Baby B had a smile that was every bit of contagious, as was his goofy little personality. At any given time he could be caught with a bottle in his mouth or taking a little “fat-daddy” nap (a pair of his favorite hobbies), if not either of those, he was listening to Cody Johnson with Mommy as she sang him to sleep. Albeit a short time he was here, the hearts he touched will forever be full and will eternally shine bright with the abundance of love he radiated. Brazosaurus Rex will be deeply missed to which words will never be enough, but just as his beautiful soul could illuminate a room, like the tiny colorful lights he adored gazing upon daily, his memory will remain constant, continuing to pour light into our hearts and overflowing them with love each day, as he will never be forgotten. Our sweet Chubbabubba baby will always be the brightest star on the darkest nights, the warmest touch when the days are cold, and in every corner, of every heart who had the pleasure in knowing our sweetest little angel. Fly high sweet boy. May the wind stay at your back, and the sun on your little face, hand in hand with God until Mommy and Daddy come home.
Brazos is survived by his parents, Daddy Christopher Sawyer, Mommy Skylar Shaw; Siblings, Jaxon & Aubrey Sawyer; Fur Brother (our adored husky) Niko; Grandparents, Douglas and Barbara Drosche or Bibi & Pops, Larry and Jodi Shaw, or Nana & Papa, and Brent Turner or Poppa B; Great-Grandparents, Vera Warren, Janie Quinteros, and Billy & Deborah Shaw; Aunts and Uncles, Kristen Fisher & partner Shawn Ledger, Chelsea & husband Tyler Tennison, Nash Shaw & partner Maddy McLemore, Carson Shaw and Abram Shaw; God Parents, Sandra Beaty, Adriana Fossett, Fiancé Deuce Donaldson, and son Dalton Donaldson (better known as Auntie Adi, Pimpaw, Uncie Dalty & NeNe).
