Carole Gambrell, 83, of Waco, passed away at home on Thursday, June 6th, 2024.
Carole was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church for over 30 years. Carole enjoyed her friends, grandkids, as well as Steve Wariner, Garth Brooks and George Strait.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Jack.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Ferguson and husband Ron of Wolfe City, Cindy Sparks and husband Scott of Gholson; eight grandchildren and two sister-in-laws.
The family would like to thank the staff of Interim Hospice for there great support and care.
The family will be having a private service at a later date.

Carole was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the chance to know. I enjoyed the visits her and my aunt Brenda would make to Austin and us hang out for the day. I am still in disbelief that she is gone. RIP sweet Carole 💔

Carole was the sweetest of friends. My life has been blessed knowing her. Her laughter was the best. We sure had fun stalking George & Laura Bush when we heard they would be in Crawford, lol. I will miss her here on earth but look forward to the day we meet again. Fly high, sweet friend!
