Carolyn Lanell Pool, 83 of Chalk Bluff, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 31 at her residence.
Graveside Service: 9:30AM Tuesday, June 7 at Rosemound Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8PM Monday, June 6 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born November 18, 1938 in Waco to L.C. Scott and Artie Mae (Rancher) Scott. She worked and retired from Owens-Brockway Glass Co. for 40 years as an inspector. Carolyn loved trips to Las Vegas with friends, but spending time with her family and her beloved dog, “Blake Shelton” meant the most to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Artie Mae Scott; husband, Billy Pool; and brother Mickey Scott.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Wade-Lambert (Joey) of Elm Mott; son, Steve Wade (Heather Johnston) of Elm Mott; granddaughter, Aimee Gonsalves (Mark) of Hewitt; grandsons, Steven Wade (Alli) of Robinson, and Hayden Wade of Elm Mott; great grandchildren, Kourtney, Liam and Jet; and great-great grandchildren, Aiden and Haisley.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the hospice team at Baylor, Scott and White for their professionalism and service to Carolyn in her final days.
