Carrie Dean Stafford, 69, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Waco. She was born April 23, 1947 to Leeview and Lockie Mae Brooks in Leon County, Texas. She was baptized at an early age at Toliver Chapel. Since then, she’s been serving God where ever her heart lead her to go. She attended school at Meridian High School and Peabody High School, where she graduated. She then moved to Houston where she worked for NASA and later began a career in convenience stores as a manager and later Texas Home Health Care as a caregiver in Waco.
She married Jerome Stafford, Sr. and to this union, was born three children; Patricia Stafford, Jerome Stafford and Kevin Stafford all of Waco. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Lake Shore Funeral Home followed by a luncheon in the adjacent Reception Hall at the funeral home.
