Carrlie was born August 29, 1994 in Waco to Charles Farrar and Celesté Matus. Carrlie was a very sweet and curious child who never knew a stranger. She attended Connally Elementary School, Texas Christian Academy, and Parkview Christian Academy. She later graduated from Bella School of Cosmetology.
She soon met P.J. Pesina and they were married December 12, 2012, and had three beautiful daughters. She loved children. She worked at St. Mary’s Daycare in West for several years caring for the children there.
Carrlie was loving, caring mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was the light of any room she walked into. She always had a hug, kind words, or an ear to listen to available for anyone that needed it.
She was baptized at First Baptist Church in Elm Mott. She enjoyed many activities at the church and attended several of the youth activities and camps. She loved God and had great faith.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Carroll Farrar, and Woodard Webb, Jr.; aunt, Rhonda Flores; and cousin, James “Slim” Hand.
She is survived by husband, Paul “PJ” Pesina, Jr.; daughters, Kinzleigh, Kyndall, and Kora; parents, Charlie and Celesté Farrar; sister, Cecelia Froman and husband Brad; grandparents, Cherri and Albert Matus, Carolyn Farrar, and Helen Webb; mother-in-law, Teresa Martin; numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives; best friend, Stormy Clark; and loving fur brother, Turbo.
A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital for all their care, especially nurse Walter J. Lewis.

Charlie & Celeste, thank you for posting that beautiful video. I didn’t know Carrlie but I know y’all, and I see so much of each of you in her. She was so beautiful. She had an amazingly genuine smile. The light that comes from her is shown through her pictures and COMPLETELY tells the story of her love for her family, may it never dim or be forgotten. I pray the strength that carried her to the end will find its way to you and somehow ease your pain during the most difficult days ahead.
