Cathy Ann Berry Klement, age 50, peacefully left her earthly body as she was completely healed, restored and made new when Jesus wrapped her in His arms as she entered eternal peace on October 18, 2014, at Providence Hospital (Ephesians 5:14 and Isaiah 40:31).
Celebration of Life Service: Noon, Sunday, October 26th at Cornerstone Fellowship, 207 E Frederick St., Riesel, TX.
Cremation services under the care of Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Cathy was born on October 17, 1964 to Danny Berry and Vernice Long. She is preceded in death by her father, Danny Berry; mother, Vernice Long. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her survivors: loving husband, Greg Klement; devoted son, Jarrod Griffin; precious daughter, Madison Klement; very special aunt, Pernie Martin; and sister, Connie Setler and Cornerstone Fellowship of Riesel family.
Cathy married the love of her life 14 years ago in July and the cornerstone of her life was her family and friends. Cathy, although quite sassy, had quite a loving and generous heart, the brightest smiles, and the warmest hugs. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship in Riesel. Cathy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends and buying all things purple! She also had such an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cornerstone Fellowship-Refuel Youth.
Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Greg, Jarrod and Maddie,
I love you each so much. I’ll continue to pray for all of you. Maddi and Jarrod know that your names just got moved up to the same spot as my own kids. My heart is broken and filled with so much joy at the same time. I pray I can always keep the promises I made to my beautiful friend.
I’ll love you for eternity Cathy, I’ll miss you until I walk into heaven and am embrassed in one of your amazing bear hugs!!!!
I love you guys!
Love always,
Amanda Carpenter
Amanda, you and I discussed many times the strength of the bonds that exist between the walls of that little old church in Riesel. Cathy’s going home, if anything, only strengthened those bonds. I feel the same way about you and Josh and your precious children…and that purple sheet will forever remain etched in memory.
Greg,
Although we have never met in person, both you and Cathy have been a bright star in my Christian walk. Where so many people would post negative comments, both of your love has shined through for our Lord and Savior. I will miss seeing her spirit shared on Facebook, and am truly sorrow filled for your loss. Until you both meet again you are being embraced by the Father in his love and peace.
Sincerely,
Collette

So sorry for your Loss. Cathy loved people and loved her Family. Times I saw her we always talked about the kids and Greg. Greg dearly loved Cathy. She would come to bowling alley and watch Greg and Jarrod bowl. Our team would bowl against them and Cathy was our cheerleader so to speak. Still can’t believe she is in Heaven now. She was too young. She is in Gods hands now and will be watching over all of you. One day when u all get your wings she will be waiting at the Gates of Heaven with open arms. She will always be in all your Hearts and Memories. Many Prayers and Hugs to each of you Greg, Jarod, and Maddie. Bless u all at this time. Love Sissy and Wayne.
We love our family. We have always loved Jarrod and Maddie as our own and will continue to do so. Even though Cathy’s physical body is no longer with is, her beautiful presence will always remain in our thoughts, prayers and precious memories, especially that sassy beautiful laughter and smile. We are going to miss her so much. We are here for you and the kids any time if the day or night…. Redneck Bluffs is the heart and soul of a family full of love and we are honored to have your family be a part if it. We love you always.
It’s a blessing that I was able to have my life impacted by your family. It is going to be hard not to pick up the phone and call you just to talk. The Klement family is a true inspiration to any and everyone that allows them in their heart. Cathy was a outspoken, funny, true to the core friend that was always there no matter where you were. I will miss your witty little comments and gestures. Greg, Jarrod and Maddie we love you to the moon and back!! God please continue to bless this family with your faithful love and support. Because only thru You was this family strong enough and unselfish enough to allow Cathy a peaceful journey home. Continue to use this family for your works, because thru them we have been able to draw nearer to you. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen
Greg, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person. I love her so much. I am so glad she is at peace. She was also blessed with you.
Greg, I know you found the love of your life in Cathy and it will be hard to go on without her. She loved you and Jarrod and Maddie so much. You are ALWAYS in my prayers and I hope I am in yours. God bless you all. She and Paul, Sr. will always be watching over you. Much love to all of you.
Mom
You were a gift sent straight from Heaven. Given to us from God above. We know how much you would teach us About the meaning of true love… For true love sometimes means letting go Of someone precious and dear. That is what we were forced to do… Although we wanted to keep you here!!! However we truly do believe That God must have needed you more… Perhaps to be an Angel now, Full of wisdom and love… Watching over those of us who love you From the shining stars above. We miss you more than you can know. You will never be replaced… In our hearts and memories forever, Will be your sweet face looking back with memories, Upon the path you trod, We bless the hours we had with you, And leave the rest with God Always in our thoughts Forever in our hearts
My wonderful fb friend, no one has ever touched my life the way Cathy did. I never met her in person but she was always there with just the right words, a funny picture or saying… Cathy coached & cheered me while I took care of my ailing mother, through my husbands heart surgery & the death of my mother. My friend I will miss you … I will keep youGreg, Jarrod & Maddie in my prayers…
Greg and Maddie,
Kathy was a special lady. I enjoyed talking to her at the karate school. I know she will be missed but she is in a much better place than we are. She is free from pain and can now do all the things she couldn’t do here on earth. You have a guardian angel watching over you. We will be praying for you.
Love,
Martin and Linda Heese

Greg, Jarrod, and Madison,
I just wanted you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Cathy was a childhood friend of mine. She was just as amazing when we where growing up as the woman she grew up to be. We can all thank God for allowing us to have her in our lives. She will be dearly missed.
Love and Prayers,
Chantal Runyan
I have the fondest memories of Cathy just from the past several years that we’ve known each other through Facebook. Her love of life, and joy in her family were what really impressed me, not to forget her love of purple which is my favorite color too! She had such a strong faith, and shared so many inspiring times through her trials, and tribulations in her life that helped me with my own similar issues. I am going to truly miss her presence, but I know she’s rejoicing at Home with our Lord. Praying for your peace, and strength in this sad time, Greg, Jarrod, and Madison in the coming days until you join her again in eternal peace. She’ll always be a bright light to all that knew her, and will be forever missed. God’s Blessings to Your family, Peg
Jarrod and family we are sorry for your loss. Jarrod I know how much your mother meant to you but remember she will always be there for you and try to lead you down the path to success. The Biarnesens will always be here for you.
Dear Greg,
While I did not know Cathy, I was saddened to hear of your tremendous loss. I can see from the inspiring messages that she had a wonderful positive impact on the lives of others. What’s not to love about a woman who is both sassy and generous as she is described in the obituary? Innumerable threads of love connected you and Cathy in marriage. While the spiritual ones will endure this separation, you still have some rough and lonely months ahead. Know that Bill and I will be praying for you and your children. Peg Marrin
