Funeral Service: 11AM Friday, September 6, 2024 at Kingdom Hall, 4911 I35 Waco, Texas, burial to follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Charles Earl Tucker was born on July 10, 1946, in Asa, Texas to the late Benjamin Tucker, Jr. and the late Sarah Pimpton Tucker.

After dedicated service spanning 16 years at The Broadway in Los Angeles, CA, followed by another 13 years at McLennan County in Waco, TX, Charles retired with a wealth of experience and a reputation for hard work and integrity.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, having been baptized on March 16, 1974, at the “Divine Purpose” District Assembly. For five decades, he walked in faith alongside his father and God Jehovah. Serving as an elder in the congregation for 25 years, Charles exemplified compassion and devotion to his community.

Known for his warmth, kindness, and generous spirit, Charles touched the lives of many with his hospitality and positive encouragement. He found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing on the lake with Judy, savoring BBQ, playing dominoes, and sharing his love for singing and dancing.

All who knew Charles and his dear wife Judy, knew they were very positive and encouraging, especially knew about their love for the ministry and strong faith in Jehovah God regarding his wonderful promises of everlasting life by means of God’s Kingdom.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Doris Baylor; and brothers, Billy, Freddie and Leonard Tucker.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy Tucker; daughters, Nicole and Ashley Tucker; son, Philip (Sonya) Tucker; and sisters, Betty (Eugene) Touchstone, and Minnie Holmes; brother, Joel Tucker; grandchildren, Victoria and Philip Tucker, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Though he is no longer with us, Charles leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
