Charles Lynn Relyea of Eddy passed way Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Memorial Service Friday, July 22 at Bethel Church in Temple at 3pm. Visitation will precede service at 1pm.
Charles was born on August 22, 1949, in Bellmead to Richard and Frances Relyea. He married Larnell Adkins on October 15, 1970. Charles retired from The U.S. Postal Service after 23 years of service. He was postmaster at Troy and Kempner. His passions were loving his wife, teaching Sunday School and singing southern gospel and hymns. He was an avid collector of Bill Gaither videos.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Richard Relyea and loving wife of 43 years, Larnell Relyea. He is survived by his mother Frances Relyea, brother Richard Relyea and his wife Miriam, sister Robin Boyce and husband Mark. He is also survived bv sons Christopher and his wife Lourdes, Jeffrey and his wife Janet; two “adopted” sons Brian Lewis and his wife Renee and Joe Lewis; and “adopted” daughter Kandy Thomas. He also had 9 grandkids and 3 great grandkids who adored him.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations will be made to Bethel Church at 22621 SE HK Dodgen Loop, Temple, TX 76502 or to Jonathan and Melissa Lowrance, missionaries to Japan at www.thelowrances.org.

He daughter my daughter Sunday school and his wife daughter and helped my daughter in school he will missed very much prayers are with the family and friends at this time of sorrow.

Charles was such a sweet man and so was his precious wife. They are dancing and singing in heaven together. Hugs to his family.
