Chase Phillip Costello

Chase Phillip Costello was born February 2, 2001 and passed away June 23, 2023.

A Balloon release will be held in Chase’s Honor at 5PM Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Cameron Park, Pecan Bottom near the bridge.

Chase was born to Amanda McNew and James Costello in Baytown Texas. Chase was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, great nephew, and grandson.

Chase loved to go fishing, play his game, and hang out with his friends and family. He loved buying shoes but had to be particular; he also enjoyed going to Galveston, but what he loved the most was being a father and uncle. Chase played football and basketball and ran track for Groesbeck ISD. He also played football in Mart his freshman year.

Chase was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Jean McNew; grandfather, James McNew II; grandfather, Henry Don Tanton; grandmother, Rosalie Tanton; and his great uncle, Larry Johnson.

Chase is survived by his mother, Amanda McNew of Waco; sister, Airreanna Costello of Waco; daughter, Aurora  of  Waco; unborn son, baby Costello of Waco; brother, Jade Costello of New Braunfels and children’s mother Christina Russell of Waco; father, James  Costello of Borger; stepfather, Aaron Newman of Houston; stepmother, Dusti Spell of New Braunfels; grandfather, Tony Todaro of Louisiana; grandmother, Catherine McNew of Houston; uncle, James McNew III of Houston; uncle, Chris Todaro and wife LeTy of Borger; aunt, Beatrice Todaro and great aunt, Patty Johnson  of Houston;  and numerous aunts, uncles , cousins and other  family , and several close friends that are family to him.
